Standard conversion plates.

Standard conversion plates are available in 150 mm, 180 mm, 210 mm, 225 mm, 250 mm, 275 mm and 300 mm diameters and can cover existing holes in ceilings, bulkheads and walls from 100 mm up to 280 mm in diameter. They are available in Satin or Gloss White and can be manufactured with or without a central locating pressing. The central locating pressing is 110 mm in diameter and is suitable for down lights with a face diameter of 105 mm to 108 mm in diameter only. Lights with a larger face diameter are more suited to conversion plates without the central locating pressing.

Custom conversion plates.

Custom made conversion plates can be manufactured to your specifications. If you require a cut-out size other than the standard 90mm, or a different material, shape or color we can help. Custom made plates with a cut-out other than 90mm will not have a central locating pressing. Round plates with a diameter other than the standard  150mm, 180mm, 210mm, 225mm, 250mm, 275mm and 300mm plates or a different shape will not have the turned up outer edge. They can also be made with various mountings to suit your needs. We have made over 400 variations of these conversion plates to suit many projects. 

Blanking plates.

Blanking plates are a quick and easy way to cover existing holes in ceilings, bulkheads and walls. Often, people may remove old down lights and not wish to replace them. They are also handy if you wish to mount a smoke detector, camera or a pendant light over an existing ceiling hole. They can also be used to gain entry into the ceiling space to pull cables, access drivers or plug and unplug lights from sockets easily.      They are available in Satin or Gloss White and in 7 standard exterior sizes. 150mm, 180mm, 210mm, 225mm, 250mm, 275mm and 300mm. They can cover existing ceiling holes from 80mm up to 280mm in diameter.

Plaster conversion plates.

Plaster conversion plates give a more up-market modern appearance compared to an Aluminium conversion plate. They are only available for 90mm cut-out lights with a face diameter of 108mm or less and are only produced with an exterior diameter of 210mm. They can cover existing ceiling holes up to 190mm in diameter and are recommended to be mounted with construction adhesive as well as the retaining springs. They are finished in a water based White acrylic undercoat and can be painted to suit any color decor after fitting. They are only made to order and not a stock item.
